Hessen is an independent trading firm based in Montreal. Since its founding in 2017, our team has steadily grown to include qualified and dedicated individuals from diverse professional backgrounds. Our discerning approach to new ideas and the integration of advanced trading technologies allows us to capitalize on expansive opportunities in North American equity markets with limited downside risk and volatility.

Meet our partners

Scott, Mickael, and Adam were first introduced in 2014 as colleagues before quickly becoming friends. Their complementary skills and shared values form the synergistic partnership behind Hessen. As founding partners, they are actively involved in the ongoing development of the firm’s trading technologies and growth. Their leadership philosophy encourages teamwork, openness and creativity.
